كشفت سامسونج عن جوال Galaxy Beam ، و هو جوال مزود بـ بروجكتر قادر على العرض بحجم يصل إلى 50 انش.


الهاتف مزود بشاشة WVGA بحجم 4 انش (للأسف ليست AMOLED أو HD) . معالج ثنائي النواة بسرعة 1 جيجاهرتز من ST-Ericsson U8500 Cortex A9 CPU . مدعومه بذاكرة عشوائية (RAM) بسعة 768 ميجابايت. و 8 جيجابايت ذاكرة تخزينية مُتبية بالجهاز. البروجكتر قادرة على العرض بسطوع 15 لومن (Lumens). تتيح لك العرض بواسطتها صور و مقاطع الفيديو بعرض 50 انش.

البطارية هنا في Galaxy Beam جيدة فهي بسعة 2000 mAh . و مع وجود البروجتر إلا أن الهاتف لا يتعدى سمكه أكثر من 12.5 ملمتر. و هذا شيء ممتاز، و قد أعطى الهاتف لقب أنحف هاتف مزود ببروجكتر. مرحى لسامسونج Galaxy Beam .

في الواقع الهاتف Galaxy Beam تم تصميمه بعناية، فحتى مع وجود عدسة البروجكتر، الهاتف أنيق و قد لا يلاحظ أحد أنه مزود ببروجكتر إلا عند رؤيته بتمعن. سيعمل الهاتف بنظام التشغيل جوجل أندرويد 2.3 ( Android 2.3 ) . و سيشحن إلى أسواق بعض الدول المختار بدايةً في الربع الثاني من هذا العام.
